Do you think that God is there only to fulfill the mundane desires of your life?
Who is the Master? You or God? If God is the Master, then what ever He gives you, you should smilingly accept it. You are not to dictate what God should do, but you ought to accept what God gives.
Apart from that, let the relationship between you and God not be one of only give and take but one of love, devotion and acceptance. Then you can only grow in consciousness. And when you grow in consciousness, you will realize you don't have to ask anything from God. Whatever you need, whatever will do good to you, whatever is a blessing for you, will come to you unasked.
