As you grow in consciousness and as your attitude to life gradually changes into glowing positivity, you will feel that you are being empowered to be in the company of the negative people but not be negatively influenced. On the other hand, your presence in the midst of your friends who are negative would gradually spread the aroma of your positive light and they would gradually turn into a life of positivity.
This may not happen overnight. But as you persevere in your own attitudinal transformation, and while you are grooming your self into positive light, you have to be in the midst of both positive and negative people. You will definitely not run away from the negative people. Instead face them and induce in them the liking for things which are entertainingly positive.
Apart from that, if you are not in the midst of the negative people, how would you know that you are growing into positive light? After all, being with the positive people if you are positive, that is not a big deal. But being in the negative circumstances and situations, if you can still maintain your positive light and positive frame of mind, it proves that your strength of positivism is growing.
So the way I look at it is not to run away from the negative but to face it and take it as a challenge to win over every negative situation and person through your divine light and also the power of your positive mind.
The experience of my life is this, love wins every negative situation. Love is the invincible power before which no evil dark forces can stand for long. Love is like Truth, it always Wins.
