Initially, as the soul evolves, the emotional involvements are unconscious, anger, fear, jealousy, love, hate, manifest more as an
instinct than as a choice. But as the soul moves through these experiences, it realizes the pain involved in the emotions of the lower
plane. The Masters of the Spirit from all Traditions speak to such soul inspiring him/her to awaken to the higher reality of the same emotion.
The emotion that creates pain is also the emotion which can free the soul from all bondage through deep love for the Divine. Just as thoughts can bind you and the thoughts can also take you to a point of stillness and silence, so also unbridled emotions can cause greatest damage to an individual while befriended (controlled) emotions can uplift an individual from pains and agonies to Higher life of communion and celebration. Even the highest of the ecstasy of the non-physical nature has a touch of emotion, in its purest subtle form.
