Yes, there is a saint in every sinner, for the soul is potentially divine. But who can evoke the saint lying dormant in the sinner? We all are conditioned to condemn anyone who commits a sin and won't hesitate to call the police and hand over the responsibility to correct him.
But one who is spiritually evolved can't give up any opportunity to evoke the dormant God in the other. I, myself have experienced such inexpressible joy when I could show light to a fallen soul, breath confidence into a depressed heart, or inspired divine faith in the lost traveler in the path of life.
One of my deepest convictions is none of us should say the last word about the character or future of any one. I have seen believers of God throwing away the pictures and idols of deities when misfortune struck them. I have seen a life long rationalist and atheist turning 180 degrees to become a mad devotee of God.
Who knows when the change can come? Who knows what episode of life can transform a person from the gross materialism to a high state of spiritual enlightenment? Are we the deciders of other's life?
No, let us leave that to the Divine, the Source from where all that is, is flowing every moment. Let us not be too judgmental about others negativity; instead fill the pitcher of our life with the nectar of divine love and positive emotions so that we can be instrumental in bringing a positive change in the others without ever claiming any credit for it. For all credits should rightfully go to the Divine, and all discredits to our pseudo-self, the ego.
